From Meals on Wheels to medically tailored nutrition
American Food Service started with a simple purpose: feeding people who needed it most. In our early years, we partnered with Meals on Wheels to serve the less fortunate in our community, and that mission has guided everything since.
As demand grew, we expanded into Medicaid meal programs and began developing chronic care recipes: highly nutritional meals designed for people managing chronic disease. Today, we produce medically tailored meals for partners across the country.
